Had coffee with my buddy Ernie recently at Pete's Coffee on Railroad Ave. in Danville, and ran into my friend Chris Mullin. Chris former Olympian, Golden State Warriors star forward, and former general manager is one the town of Danville's local celebrities.
We talked about our friend Phil Hellston who recently passed away. Many Danville residents knew Phil, a local artist who was an iconic figure strolling through Danville every day. He was often at Pete's coffee and will be remembered fondly by many.
